Conservatory or orangery?
A conservatory usually has a greater proportion of glazed walls and roof. An orangery normally uses more masonry, an internal perimeter ceiling and a roof lantern or solid roof sections.
What to consider
The right choice depends on budget, desired appearance, thermal performance, relationship with the existing house and how the room will be used.
